I have just finished a very informative free FutureLearn course 'Childhood in the Digital Age'. It will still be available online for anyone who is interested. I took it because I was interested in the effects that technology and the constant use of a plethora of devices might have on my grandchildren's learning, development and socialisation. The research evidence produced in the course was very interesting and I'm pleased to say that my cautious optimism about the whole situation was confirmed by the findings to date.
