Do any of you Grans know if, in the 1700s (or at any time), the Clothworkers Company in London admitted carpenters as members? I ask this because an ancestor of mine appears to have been both a carpenter and a member of the Clothworkers' Company! Puzzled....
The government changed women's pension age and called it progress. Did anyone actually ask you?
