Here is a little story concerning David Jacobs. It was in an interview and he was talking about his dad who was a greengrocer and used to go to Covent garden very early in the morning to buy fruit and veg. David said that his dad always thought of every day as being sunny because it is nearly always so at 5 in the morning. He found that on the whole his dad was right and often when I go to the loo at about that time (except in the winter) I find myself thinking of David and his dad going off to Covent Garden in the sunshine.
