I’ve grown them for several years in my garden. They come back every year and their perfume is divine.

I think they may have been but it’s been a while since we moved so my memory may have tricked me!

Thank you both - can I ask if they were highly perfumed?

I had them in my previous garden. They came up faithfully for many years. A lovely flower. I must get some more this autumn for my new garden.

Well i grew them for the first time this year, and they were very successful. A nice flower, but how perennial they are I’ve yet to find out.

I usually grow a couple of pots of Bridal Crown narcissus each year primarily because I love their scent. However, last spring, despite having bought new bulbs the previous autumn, they pretty much failed to flower (I maybe had 6 or 7 flower heads from 20 bulbs). Looking at bulb websites, Sir Winston Churchill looks very similar and is described as ‘reliable’ - does anyone have any experience of this bulb and would you recommend it?
