Can anyone recommend some suitable gloves that are thick enough for working with brambles.
I have a bramble that is growing through a lovely Viburnum Plicatum Mariesii. It spreads horizontally so the bramble gets quite a hold growing up underneath it and I can't really reach it easily.
I usually try cutting the bramble branches with the secateurs, then keeping hold of them with the secateurs to transfer to the bin. This means I don't touch them but is not always ideal or doable.
The viburnum is deciduous so now is an ideal time to try to get rid of the bramble. I don't think I will be able to spray it to kill it without killing the viburnum as well.
Thanks in advance
