So whilst I was scanning through Facebook at breakfast yesterday I saw the announcement from Monty Don that his old dog Nigel had sadly died. Well I sobbed. I know it’s a bit ridiculous to get so upset about the death of someone else’s pet but I’ve been watching G.W. for more years than I care to remember and Nigel was such a favourite. I think if it hadn’t been for the times we’re living in I wouldn’t have cried so, but it all just came out. I miss my granddaughter so, and fear for the future so much too. Anyway I’ll miss Nigel but I’m glad Monty has got his new little Yorkshire terrier as well as Nellie.
