Only then will I head off home
And sort out my wet hair with a comb
I'll try a new style
With which I'll beguile
Everyone wherever I roam

I'll charm everybody I meet

I put out some pales
And now we have gales
So a roofer I now must seek

I hope he doesn't cost too much
Don't want to be left in the lurch
I've nowhere to go
So feel a bit low

I hope he doesn't cost too much
Don't want to be left in the lurch
I've nowhere to go
So feel a bit low
But I'm not yet depressed as such

I might just book a hotel room
To keep away those thoughts of doom
A soft King size bed

I might just book a hotel room
To keep away those thoughts of doom
A soft King size bed
And a book I've not read

I might just book a hotel room
To keep away those thoughts of doom
A soft king size bed
And a book I've not read
No worrying thoughts can loom!

I'd get away soon as I could

A holiday would be so good
I’d get away soon as I could
To warm days and nights
No need to wear tights

A holiday would be so good
I’d get away soon as I could
To warm days and nights
No need to wear tights
If I could do that, then I would.

It brings on a bout of the blues
My channel I'll switch
Hearing Trump I'll ditch
And I'll try to stay off the booze
