continued from last

Some dream about a simpler life
Away from politics and strife
Maybe Hebrides?
No celebrities šŸ‘

The band love the fans to sing loud
Stand and clap, and stir up the crowd
The tickets were dear
And so was the beer
I floated home on a cloud

My family is rather odd

A concert might be much better
But leave kids home with the ā€˜sitterā€™
We fans will go mad
Scream and shout real bad
Then moan about it all on twitter

Slight adjustment:

But leave kids home with the ā€˜sitterā€™

I went to the theatre last night
The audience broke into a fight
Poor actors on stage
Didn't know how to guage
how to play it both serious and light.

A concert might be a lot better

Backgammon needs skill more than luck
Beginners luck- more a lame duck
It's not nice to cheat
Winning is so sweet
And I'd treat you all to some tuck

I went to the theatre last night

There was a young lady called June
Went to Greece on her honeymoon
A lovely hotel
And not a motel
She stayed in her bedroom 'till noon

Backgammon needs skill more than luck

Here, it is lovely today
And if it doesnā€™t rain, I may
Do loads of washing
Listen to sloshing
And then take children out to play
