I'll need to invest in ear plugs
A better solution than drugs
To keep out the noise

I'm studying how to milk cows
When I succeed, I will take bows

Salads with fresh feta cheese
My tastebuds will be pleased
Baclava’s divine
The hummus is mine
It gives me such trembly knees.

Fond memories of a Greek isle
Are enough to bring a warm smile
Leisurely living
Not one misgiving
Decided to stay for a while

I'm travelling to far off lands
Crystal seas and soft warm sands,
Good food and nice wine
The weather is fine
I’m yachting - to the deck all hands.

They asked, "Just a tourist, you say?"
I could meet someone on the way!
"So what have we here?"
With nothing to fear
I say out loud hip hip hooray

Customs dismantled my suitcase
So embarrassed-they saw my lace😘
Glanced the other way
Said "Oh look, a jay!"
But everyone stared at my face.

They asked, "Just a tourist, you say?"

I hate to be at the airport
I become really distraught
There’s such a huge crowd,
Much jostling and loud
Children who are so overwrought
