I'm thinking how happy I am that I visited the local supermarket at the 'right' time on hogmanay. Unbelievable food bargains and not a soul in sight. I scooped so many that the fridges are full and I won't have to think what to eat for a fair while. Yippee!

I am thinking I need to do more. I have been very lazy over the last few weeks but haven't had much energy to do much.

I'm thinking that I'm glad I've managed to make the stew (as mentioned in another thread) but my energy has completely gone away and I can't manage to make the carrot soup which I promised myself.
Sometimes old age and a bad back is just no fun at all.
(sorry to sound self-pitying, I will recover in a minute)

I'm thinking I'll make myself another cup of coffee. And isn't it uplifting to see a chink of brightness in the sky this morning. We've had days of rain and low cloud recently.

I am thinking about what New Year Resolutions I should be making.

I don’t really want to move but will have to when my DD returns and we set off to buy her Christmas/birthday present of an Apple Watch.

Thinking it's about time I hauled myself off the sofa and washed the dishes.

That if this unseasonably warm spell, currently forecast, is realised, I might enjoy some more exercise tidying the garden. Exercise and pleasure - double whammy!

Glad I waited for doctors to answer phone - about 20 minutes - because I am to have a telephone conversation with the doctor before 11.30!

That I need to get out of bed and do a bit of exercise, perhaps in front of all those episodes of Corrie I need to catch up on. All the flab from those Christmas goodies won’t shift itself.

That I am waiting to speak to the doctors and I am 24th in the queue.........shall I try again tomorrow? I have the phone on speakerphone so I can do other things but the music is driving me crazy!! Shall I hang up, how long will I have to wait?

I wish I’d realised that the avocado had nearly 250 calories in it before I put it into my salad. It wasn’t that tasty either.

I really wish that I had not had the 3rd mulled wine. Think I'll sit down and watch TV!!

I’m thinking how nice it is to sit with my daughter opening her birthday presents with a throw over my knees and a nap creeping over me.

I'm thinking it's a small world. Mawbe posted a photo of the view from her daughter's house, where she is currently staying. I recognised the view as being almost the identical view view from my stepdaughter's home. They are neighbours!!!

I'm thinking I'm glad this Christmas is over and hoping that this bloomin' virus will turn itself into something less virulent in 2022.

BBbevan same here, though mine is a side effect of the Pfizer booster at the end of November.
Antihistamines didn't help. A six day course of steroids had cleared it but it's come back with a vengeance this weekend ?

I’m thinking that I should really be clearing up the devastation from yesterday with the DGSs, or going for a long walk, instead of sitting here eating chocolates and Christmas cake in front of Singing in the Rain.

I'm thinking that I should stir myself and go into the kitchen. Mars bar krispie cake and pavlova to make. I'm wasting time here.

I’m thinking that although I’d love it if family in Oz could visit sometime, I hope it’ll never be at Christmas…I’d never cope!
