I started cutting back some brambles this morning but it's too hot so I stopped.

For the first time in about 15 months I am going to go in a clothes shop today. I will be careful.

I buy live mealworms but yes, caution still needed.

Sorry, that was too relevant, and against the thread rules.

Chop the mealworms up, Juliet, and maybe soak them a bit. The dried ones are too big for the chicks as they are and could choke them. The mother blackbird would find nice juicy caterpillars and grubs for them.

‘My’ male blackbird who sang so beautifully seems to have gone missing ? and the female is having to feed her brood alone. I’ve bought mealworms to help her out.

I am going non food shopping today with my daughter - first time in 15 months! (I just hope I have the energy in this heat to keep up with her.)

I’m helping my bDGS revise GCSE maths. He’s doing fractions. ?

Took a vow of abstinence from cakes, biscuits, sweets and chocolates in an effort to get rid of some lock down flab.

I have been trying to renew my driving licence online and failing. The online form is designed like an exam. You are not told why they can't accept your details! This is a random rant!!

Tackled a mountain of ironing just now and found a 'bump' in a dress pocket which turned out to be a scrunched up tissue - how it didn't go walk-about and make a complete bitty mess of the entire wash I can't fathom but am so glad it didn't.

Clammy day today so I was pleased to hear from Amazon that they're delivering a parcel between 1 and 4 pm. Great excuse to stay in!

New washing machine just delivered. Now to work out how to operate it ?
