What is your favourite humourous book?

I don’t really read many humorous books, perhaps that could be a target for 2021. I do remember being given Mrs Brown’s family handbook, which was funny if you like Mrs Brown. Can you recommend any?

Have you got anything planned for May 17?

Not for the 17th itself, but two bus day trips after that, yay!

Do you think Israel is too draconian regarding Palestine?

Yes. They are holding back the evictions though. It appears that tomorrow could be very volatile.

What is your guilty pleasure food wise? I love super noodles!

Nesquick breakfast cereal. My DGS lectures me about Nestlé but I sometimes have it instead of Granola.

Are you growing any fruit this year?

We have several fruit trees in the garden. 4 apple , one pear and two damson. Also a fig and an olive. We also have a strawberry cage. Last year we had a bumper crop of pears.

Did you like your school uniform ?

No, but now you've mention it, I think that I will get a couple of little fruit trees.

I modified my school uniform to my liking, so yes. It would have taken ever to get ready if we didn't have a uniform!

Hi FC. Yes, I've belonged to the Cloud Appreciation Society for years. It cost me £4 and I received a badge and a certificate, and now I get regular emails telling me all about unusual cloud formations which people have seen, and lots of information about clouds and weather. They organised meet-ups in exotic places until Covid arrived.

Back to question about university..
No, sadly didn't go to university. But in my 40's I enrolled at a local college and did some more O levels and 2 A levels which took me 8 years to achieve. And I loved it.

Did you know there is also a Pylon Appreciation Society, and another one for Roundabouts (as in traffic) ?

I’d heard of (not joined) the pylon appreciation society. I love the cloud one and I think I’ll join. This morning, clouds here are really interesting.

Did you used to or do you still collect any sort of ornament?

Used to collect Hummel figurines but disposed of them in clearout.

What is the next majorish home improvement you plan?

Don't ask Kim! I'm not even going there!

Who is your favourite radio presenter?

The kitchen has to be the next project on our to do list. It's starting to look a little tired now ( does anyone remember Artex ceilings). Trying to find a tradesperson that isn't booked up for the next 6 months is proving difficult.

Do you have a favourite coffee type?

cb1963, I’d say cappuccino, except that means I’m old! I don’t really drink coffee except when dining out.

Doughnut or custard tart ?

Custard tart from M&S, doughnuts from Sainsbury's. Thank heavens they’re both a good distance away so not a daily treat!

Do you ever buy ‘funny’ birthday cards for friends?

Am sure I remember Chomp from years ago, it was orange

Sometimes if I am sure they will find it funny.

Have you been out to a restaurant yet?

Nah, I'm not keen on eating out. I wouldn't be surprised if I don't ever eat out again.

What is your favourite piece of Jewellery?

Apart from my wedding and eternity rings, I've a pair of earrings which I bought from a supermarket - dangly ones with a half disc, curved side down if you see what I mean.

Have you ever been in a relationship with a large age gap?

Ha ha! I am! DH is 26 years my senior. We've been together since 1998
