To carry on,....

Today I saw the first mince pies
Too soon for all they symbolize
It’s simply absurd

I've always longed for a tiara
And a vineyard to make loads of Cynarah
But I know my place
Downstairs is my base
To hopes I’ll say sayonara

So far we’re lucky in the South

It's glitter and sequins we crave
Minis and crop tops if we're brave
A nice bit of bling
Silk jumper, bat wing
Nothing low cut, - just behave!

I've always longed for a tiara

There's no point in dressing in style
Apart from just once in a while
Dolled up to the nines
You can see the signs
Because my glad rags raise a smile.

I've altered your line Hellogirl1 to keep it in the rhythm of 88558

It's not my usual kind of gear
Who cares when I'm on the beer?
Really matters not
I've got what I got
I've worn it for most of this year

There's no point in dressing in style

When I’m travelling up to Doune
I always pack a fine, silk goon
It’s that kind of place
Where folks, they have grace
To have such a dress is a boon

It’s not my usual kind of gear

I've taken up traveling light
If only I could get a flight!
But then again , no
Unless it's solo
‘Til Covid is beaten outright.

They’d never associate me
With having five men up a tree
Were they all hiding?
Were they law abiding?
Goodness I was a busy bee

I've taken up traveling light
