My 7 year old grandson has just challenged me to a game of chess. I only know the basics and he has beaten me hollow. I am determined the improve my game. Have any of you learned the moves online ? Can you recommend an app ?

Ditto here NanKate our 7y old grandson keeps beating grandad who hasn’t played for over 30y (rusty) and grandson is in the chess club in Year 3 - seems they are well matched!

Both my sons play chess, me I’m hopeless, obviously haven’t got the brains, but my roast potatoes knock spots off of theirs.
