I really don`t mind being hirsute
My hair's glossy and really quite cute

This winter might brings us lots of snow
If it does I’ll maybe give sledging a go

On the ladder I must pull that loft hatch down
Then warm & cosy, I'll be out on the town
Just heard the forecast !
Of a wintry blast
I'd sooner be home in my dressing gown

I must store my summer clothes in the loft
They're washed and conditioned to keep them soft
It's woolly knickers now
And longjohns to sow
In no more floaty chiffon may I waft.

By the time our padded knickers get soaked
We'll be really drunken", I joked
We'll be dribbling
And these knickers are crippling
What a horrible picture it all evoked

Shall we wash it down with a half pint of cider?
I'm on, but can I please have a full 'pinter'?I
It's Cuba Libre for me
Too many and I'd need a pee
I think we'll get us padded knickers.

I'd rather decide on my dinner today
Than let anyone else have a say
It's Friday, hurrah! Fish 'n' chips
Mmm, I'm already licking my lips
Mushy peas, salt 'n' vinegar, that's the way.

Shall we wash it down with a half pint of cider?

Will this Brexit thing ever come to an end?
The news drives me clean round the bend!
I've reached the stage
Where I’ve lost the page
So to ignore it all is what I intend.
