I was hoping to find a thread about cleaning, but there isn't one so I'll stick this on the food thread.
I've been cooking a lot of stews recently and now the bottom of two pots have a brown coating, which won't come off with scrubbing.
It's probably from using casserole mixes, which I'm sure are cornflour based. I've told family members to reheat gently, but I think they put the pot on full heat which probably doesn't help.
Has any other poster a tip to remove the brown coating? Thanks.
