Small roasting tin that can also go on an induction hob - suggestions

eddiecat78, my ss pans have a heavy base, with aluminium sandwiched inside. You wouldn't normally get that with a roasting tin.

I don't understand why stainless steel wouldn't work. I have an induction hob and all my saucepans are stainless steel. Surely a roasting tin is the same but a different shape?

Try Pro Cook heavy gauge enamel roasting tins available in several sizes and ok for induction hobs. Price from £14 depending on size.

KL Iwas also looking at JL’s cast iron shallow roasting dish at £45 special buy. When you look at their pans if you scroll down and click on description it tells you if it’s compatible with induction hobs, which I thought at least one of the ss was.

My local charity shop has an amazing array of second hand cooking items, very often very good quality and reasonable price. Might that be a thought?

I am now panicking about my turkey tin - must check.

Just checked the JL Stainless steel is not compatible with induction hobs.

Don't know about stainless steel in general but the Lakeland ones say not. I assumed it meant all ss but will look at LJ. Thank you.

You might find something online at John Lewis. They have a sale on at the moment of stainless steel pans that are suitable for induction hobs.

Le Creuset do them…. expensive though

GSM the stainless steel roasting pans are not suitable for induction hobs. I went yesterday convinced I would find something there. Sadly not.

The IKEA one isn't really what I am after.

(Now I've found it - it's an IKEA 365+ Sauté pan)

I have a shallow casserole pan, that size, that works well on the hob. It's stainless steel with two opposite handles and a lid. It can go in the oven so is used a lot here.

Have you tried Lakeland? They sell plain stainless steel roasting tins, no coatings. Mine came from there years ago and are still being sold.
