I have a huge pot of it simmering away, made from dd’s windfalls - she hardly ever has time to do anything with them.
So what with that, and a lit-up pumpkin in the window, I started feeling pleasantly winter-ish, and lo, there was half a bottle of red wine sitting there, and some pretty ancient mulled wine spice sachets in the cupboard. Instructions said to add a sliced orange, but a quartered satsuma has worked very well - I’m feeling very pleasantly festive now. 🍷
