What’s for tea?

Witzend The tortellini in sauce combo is one of my favourite meals when I'm in a hurry.

Prawns in pasta with courgettes, tomatoes and lemon tonight. Everything has to have tomatoes at the moment! Must get around to making some passata.

Fish and chips from the chippy, mushy peas for me, I too will have a couple of tomatoes, it’s a good season for them.

We had friends round for lunch yesterday and as usual I did far too much food so we're still ploughing through leftovers. So tonight it will be bits n bobs - quiche, sausage rolls, crusty bread etc.

Grilled salmon with creme fraiche basil pesto, baby potato salad, tomatoes caprese, croissants. Summer pud for afters.

Mary Berry’s sausage supper with courgettes, tomatoes and red pepper plus onions from garden.

Dead easy and so tasty.

A takeaway!!!

Frittata (courgette, spring onion, mushroom, black olives) and a mixed salad.

Salad Nicoise and baguette, pudding - IDK.

Lasagne, garlic bread and a side salad

Cottage pie (previously made and frozen) carrots and runner beans from the garden.

Salmon fillet with red peppers, tomatoes and home made savoury rice.

Ohhhh my giddy aunts... a lot of these sound devine.... mmmmm

If I said tea tonight is...... microwave meal for Mr S and cheese salad for me will everyone think SHAME ON YOU! eeeeeeek hahaha.

I could lie and say I have been stood at the oven allllllll day, but truth of the matter is I haven't.

Stood at the cooker all day

Another one here with cottage pie previously made and frozen, with peas and onion gravy. No dessert during the week except one square of chocolate.

Jacket potato with cheesy beans along with a green salad (DH is out so it’s an easy quick meal for one)

Salmon with sugar snaps and corn on the cob.

Minced beef cooked with carrots, onions, butter beans (defrosted). Mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes mixed together. Broccoli and cauliflower.

Egg salad sandwiches and fruit juice. We took GC out for lunch and I don’t like two big meals in a day.

Stuffed mushrooms, roasted veg and a jacket potato, followed by coffee mousse and raspberries. DH finished off the tiramisu. It’s our one veggie meal of the week.

Cottage pie...homemade

Tonight , homemade Bolognaise and spelt spaghetti. Haven’t had that before but the pea one was fine .

I'm running my freezer down at the moment so hope I can find something lurking at the back for dinner later. I seem to have lots of fish cakes for some reason, they must have been on special offer! And old potato croquettes and hash browns.

Macaroni cheese, salad

We have teenage GSs here for dinner, so it will be a full on meat feast for them and DH BBQ ribs and chilli chicken wings, for me salad with something (yet to be decided)
