Juicy Fruits

THey were/are made by a company called "Meltis" weren't they? I can just"hear" the advertisement "Meltis New Berry Fruits" - loved the red ones myself!

We always have Newberry fruits at christmas. We currently have some stashed away in the spare bedroom, on the basis that if they were in the lounge they wouldn't last past tonight until Christmas.

I never liked the sugar shell that surrounded the liquid in the middle! I'd prefer them just as jellies...

As long as my mother was alive we always had Newberry Fruits at Christmas. It was as immutable as the Turkey and the Christmas Tree.

Newberry fruits are/were gorgeous.

no they are fruit shaped jellies , and when you bite into them they have a liquid centre . Remember ?
