Leftover roast potatoes

I always make far too many roast potatoes (cooked in goosefat, of course). They never taste as good warmed up in the microwave and slicing and frying them in butter is boring. Has anyone any brainwaves?!? confused

OH has rigged up a nifty switch system in the kitchen cupboard which shuts off the smoke alarm if it goes off due to my cooking! Much easier than all the wafting around with a tea towel under the alarm I used to have to do!
