Well done for the prompt reporting of that very unpleasant poster and thank you GNHQ for your prompt action. We do seem to be having a run of them at the moment don't we, which makes this thread all the more important.
A safe place for genuine people to share their experiences, good and bad 
. I sometimes think I should feel sorry for those who feel the need to project their own issues onto others, especially EAC who do so to EP's, but I seldom do and tend do have sympathy for the parents they've estranged.
It could narrow your search Babs if you want somewhere that overlooks a golf course and push the price up. Enjoy your ploughman's lunch.
I've seen the pics of little Joey when you've groomed him Yogin and you do a great job. We tried during lock down but our efforts were left wanting, they certainly didn't look anyway near as beautiful as they do today.
Mr. S. played golf when he was a lot younger but still plays well, there doesn't seem to be a sport that he isn't good at!!! He's had a few rounds here and is going to teach me in the Spring, which should be entertaining if nothing else

An ache in my left arm from the Covid vaccine but nothing from the flu one in my right arm. That's the extend of any side effects we have so am happy to have them done, but each to their own.
It's often the way when you've had an extended period of stress and heart ache that it comes as a bit of a shock when things settle down DL, despite how welcome it is.
We had some retail therapy yesterday. A couple of pairs of new trousers and a fab shirt for Mr. S.; 2 new pairs of jeans and 4 tops for me. I was trying to get Mr. S. to splurge on himself a bit more but he wasn't interested.
Can't understand it, I love a bit of retail therapy .

I don't know if you saw the posts before they were deleted BoBeep. I only saw the first as thanks to GN they were deleted extremely quickly. That was to me and was very unpleasant and intended to hurt, which it failed to do.
I agree that as parents we do have a tremendous role in shaping our children's lives, but that doesn't make us responsible for the decisions they make as adults.
That poster may well be troubled and have problems in their life, they may or may not be as a result of their childhood but I am not their mother, nor are any of the other posters on this forum, so to attack me or anyone else on this forum is completely unacceptable.
Pantglas' response was perfectly reasonable IMO and in no way was she stooping to the level of that poster.
I struggle to find pity for anyone who with the safety of the anonymity GN provides, posts with the sole intention of hurting others who are already in pain. I always try to be charitable DL but struggle to be so in those circumstances.
At least all those on GN who have been estranged can hold our heads up because some of the posts we've seen recently directed at EP's would never be directed by us at those who have estranged.
