MT has raised some very valid points. I need to read the guidance more fully to comprehend what it actually says. I don't understand why antisemitism should be dealt with differently from another form of racist/religious bullying.
The question is, is antisemitism being dealt with at all?
That could be the worry, and maybe the extensive report was drawn up because schools themselves weren't doing anything about it. I don't know, but that would of course make them negligent.
I agree with you. I'd like to see some specific examples where antisemitism took place on school premises, but the school turned a blind eye. Schools can preach all sorts of messages, but whether pupils take them on board is something else. I know that when I was at school I was a rebel. If teachers had tried to get me think something, I would on principle taken an opposite viewpoint.
