Are these particular blood clots which purportedly happen because of the AZ vaccine usually reported to the authorities? I am a little skeptical at their rarity if they aren't. Illnesses which were considered rare historically turn out not to be rare at all but are undiagnosed or the data hasn't been pulled together.
If you look at the MMR vaccine and those that were convinced it caused autism which now seems unsubstantiated, it could be that this is a coincidence. We now know with Autism that children often appear to be perfectly NT initially but then regress and the timing of the MMR just happened to coincide with that.
I reserve judgement about the causes of the blood clots but I certainly don't think it is helpful for people to avoid the AZ vaccine. They should just be vigilant, the same with any medication.
