How will easing of restrictions affect you?

I plan to drive to a large town and do some essential as well as investigative shopping now that 'stay at home' thas been relaxed a little. This will be good for the car and me. All positive.

Just now we have no restrictions at all except we can’t go overseas, not that you’d want to. We don’t even have to wear masks except if you go to the doctors or a hospital. No cases for many weeks . But. We are opening the airports to overseas travellers in a couple of weeks and I am absolutely certain it will all start up again. Our vaccine rollout is very,very slow which doesn’t help.

Going to Moab tomorrow, Utah has the same restrictions as Denver. To be outside on vacation will feel wonderful. We also hope to go to Europe in October, we’ll see how they are recovering -

I think Spring and warmer weather cheer people up, looking forward to garden, long walks, sun ?

I am a Hairstylist at a Senior Community!

Believe me the Sr. Population has suffered thru Covid. We have been required by State Board to have only 2 Stylists on the floor at a time, 6 ft. apart., , people must wait outside. Trying to wear a mask with hearing aids, glasses, oxygen and a mask is tough on Clients. This is a 5 person Salon. We just book as many people as we can, and they are so grateful. As of last week we can have Clients wait inside the Salon in the reception area. I ‘m so glad the restrictions are cautiously easing up!

Yesterday took a hot pasty I made in the morning to Goodwood and after a walk in the woods sat on our chairs and enjoyed the hot pasties?.

It’s called making the most of the freedom.

To those of you who mentioned missing the library (I am in England), I borrow e-books using Libby. Once you have done it a couple of times, it is very easy. I use my i-pad as we are not allowed to download them to Kindle.

I have had two great grandchildren born during lock down, can't wait to see them.
Have booked hair, nail and pedicure sappointments
Looking forward to having a meal I have'nt cooked myself.

National lockdown again here in France. Can't travel further than 10km and curfew continues. I haven't got all the details yet. Think its for three weeks from 3rd April.

Drove 200 miles on Monday morning to see 2 year old DGS & his mum & dad for first time in over 8 months. Visited the park then sat in their garden before driving 200 miles home again. Was one of the best days of my life.

Long hair is easier - you can pile it up on the top of your head. Make a chignon at the bag. Just don't wear it down and loose. It will look lovely. I'm having the same decision to make. At least if you decide to keep it long we can have it cut off if we tire of it. Good luck

I'm going 'proper shopping' on Saturday after months of doing click and collect. I'm going to push a trolley around the supermarket and enjoy putting stuff in and deliberating over what to buy. How sad is that! I don't think I'll ever take the simple things for granted ever again after this! Can't wait!

Mani/pedi booked but have to wait for hairdresser appt as they are contacting people in date order of missed appts. If the weather stays reasonably pleasant may be able to have family for garden BBQ or meet up. Still won't be straying far from home as DH very ill.

Getting hair cut.Visiting hha properties, swimming,cinema,eating out and when allowed visiting the grandchildren and family.Cant wait, l will do everything l have missed this last 6 months.

I just saw my oldest son for the first time in far too long, a 1.5 hour each way drive so we could sit for an hour outside in his garden before rushing home to the loo.... Lovely to see him.

DStS came to cut our jungle grass today and we were able to sit outside with him for a bit of lunch. Absolutely lovely to just sit and chat together in the sunshine

I've had a brilliant first two days since we were allowed out.
On Monday I met up with my sister in a park with our pre-school granddaughters for a coffee (from a flask). I haven't seen her for more than a year apart from a chat from her front garden when I dropped off the Christmas presents.
Yesterday DD1 and her family came round at teatime and we had a barbecue in the garden and shared a bottle of Prosecco. In a childcare bubble with DD2 so haven't seen much of them either.
We were so lucky to have had such lovely weather that made it possible and I look forward to doing it all again.

Looking forward to having friends and family in the garden, the hairdresser and some retail therapy in Windsor!

I'm so jealous of you ladies. N.Ireland assembly hasn't given us any dates yet for anything. My hair will be at my posterior at this rate!

I'll be happy to have my hair cut professionally again - although I haven't booked anywhere, as I need to get recommendations! We moved to Scotland, and I don't know anyone yet, to ask. I have made one friend, due to a love of reading (the friend is an author who has a cafe not far from here), but as he's male, and does not appear to be overly groomed, I'm not sure he would be able to assist in the hairdresser department! I could just ask anyway, I suppose! Getting to know our new neighbours would be good!

I am just sad that I won't be able to see my GS on his 18th birthday next week as he lives in England and we are not allowed out of Wales just yet.

Me too for library opening, I have a list of books I want. My mobility has deteriorated over last year so trying to book holiday to Wales hopefully in June. Dd & grandchildren, not seen for 3 months, coming Sat so hope it's warm enough for garden. Hair (hairband)

I cut all my hair off with my husband's bread trimmer as a lockdown protest so it will be a while before I need hairdresser.

Looking forward to the library opening in April, I do miss my books.

Finally, my daughter is getting married. Just 10 of us, including bride and groom. Wedding list snipped down from 120.

I wish them all the very best for a happily married life - a challenge in itself at times - but they've weathered the pandemic so that bodes well. :-)

I booked my hairdressers appt for May some time ago. Have cut and dyed it twice myself so far!
Meeting friends on Friday in their garden. We should have been going to France with them this week. I have not seen them for a year.
Still hoping for an overseas holiday in a few months but that hope is rapidly fading!
