Italy blocks export of Covid-19 vaccine doses to Australia

This really looks petty, not to say petulant. Some EU countries are wasting unused AZ vaccines thanks to their own government’s scare stories, but it seems they don’t want anybody else to have them!

Yes Jennifer Astra Zeneca are a British-Swedish company but the manufacturing plant in Italy is an American company.

GrannyAnnie from the ourworldindata website it would seem Bluebelle is correct about Japan, they've hardly vaccinated anybody. I was surprised by the lack of uptake. You'll see Japan is the level line at the bottom of the chart.
