You cannot blame idiots either as like us they are being advised by the government and if they broke the rules before they will surely see this as lock down over.
The government are in charge and Boris needs to take full responsibility for the bumbling mess he has made of easing the lock down. You can go back to work - if u cycle, walk or drive. Only use trains if absolutely necessary, yet the increase of train services is not until next week! They get paid to chat and it seems chat rubbish at the best of times.

Coronavirus
I predict another rise of covid
(523 Posts)In about 3-4 weeks time .
This idiot government is losing control.
Sharon29 (at risk of repeating myself, yet again) under emergency laws, the government has responsibility for sourcing, supplying and distributing PPE:

GrannyGravy13, the situation in Africa is influenced by the very young average age of the population - 19.7 years!
Well it's obvious there will be a second wave of infections as the virus is still lurking in the community ..it hasn't gone away, so as soon people start mixing more often in workplaces, on tube trains etc the infection rate will go up again.
Here in France, M.Macron has made the rules perfectly clear in equally clear and straightforward speeches.
If you break the rules you get fined 135€ the first time. Repeat offences double etc. Masks are required by law on public transport. Direct instructions must be given, which unfortunately have been lacking in the directives by Boris Johnson.
Thank you Hetty58 We have AC and family living in Kenya, he has remained but his wife was ordered home by High Commission. In their area they have a 7pm curfew, face coverings are mandatory, unfortunately the locals are not abiding by the law.
I still think that a lot of people has either had the virus and not realised (as the symptoms could be tied in with multiple illnesses and not just the cough and breathing problems) and are possibly carriers.
Until possibly everyone is tested (or at least those that go out of their homes), I doubt if we will ever know.
Have to wonder if those ignoring the lockdown are carriers.
Yes, it will rise again and I just don't understand why we can't start to get a grip and take advantage of the current downward curve.
Yes totally (agreeing with the first post). Covid will be with us, ebbing and flowing, for probably the rest of our lives now.
A flare up is predicted soon and a second wave in the autumn. Hopefully as many people as possible will have the flu jab, so we don’t get a flu epidemic on top!
Not political, but we are in a situation that is new all over the world. No matter what any government do or not do, they will in someones eyes always be in the wrong. If we had locked down straight away then people would have cried 'oppression',if the lockdown hadn't been lifted a little then the government' should have known better' when lots of businesses go down the pan. No this government is not perfect but would any other party have done better?
So many “experts” who obviously think they know all the answers and could do a much better job!.......I doubt it. They believe everything the media tells them and can’t see further than the end of their noses. Get over yourselves and just use a bit of common sense.
You don't have to predict it. It's definitely going to happen.
Personally I think I could have done better. Health and safety or wealth. Well being working class and dare I say a women I wouldn't have missed vital meetings in the very beginning, I wouldn't have shook anyone's hand and I would have prepared and made sure those on the frontline had enough PPE, i would put those in isolation from the beginning of planes and because everyone prepares for war and even Boris referred to this as an invisible war, one that he knew was coming, one where he knew lives would be lost and again from his speech on Sunday completely unprepared but he knows more will lose there lives. If the everyday person has to use common sense, then surely Boris should. Too many mistakes to actually say people would moan about any government who were in power, I for one am moaning about the way Boris as not handled this. Most importantly stay alert which means don't fall asleep whilst watching TV??
I'm a little shocked that we have so many experts amongst the Grans. No one knows the answer, there is no answer that will suit the whole of the England, let alone the whole of the UK.
Just do your best to do as your told and stop criticising when no one has solutions. There are enough people doing that! Do something positive- phone a neighbour to cheer them up, sign up to the symptom reporting app, volunteer for anything you can that will change your frame of mind.
Yes it's awful and very worrying, yes we are all missing our loved ones but we are the ones that are still alive.
Farawaynanny Maybe you believe everything the media tells you, but I certainly don't - and I expect many people don't either.
I'm still puzzled why it can't be nipped in the bud (or at least controlled) while it seems controllable.
Whatever mistakes have been made in the past, there's no excuse for making the same mistakes.
Maybe you can tell me why local tracing and tracking wouldn't be feasible Natasha because I'm blowed if I can understand why it couldn't be done.
GrannyGravy13 you are spot on,and i think this lockdown won`t be over in a few weeks, more like a couple of months.
And to be honest i would rather that be the case than more lives be put at risk.
I live 50 yards from Bournemouth beach.......
H E. L. P. ?
So that's what staying alert means, does it? I thought we had to watch out for little green aliens or something - I wouldn't know what to do if I saw one!
Definitely think it'll kick off again. I'm glad to be living in the far north of Scotland and to have at least another 3 weeks of lockdown, but can see both sides of the coin. Think it's too soon to be lifting lockdown, lots of people can't understand that they should still stay home and be extremely careful, they just tip out if their front doors on mass and do what they want, heading to beaches and beauty spots! No common sense & this is what we're up against as well as a killer virus!!
Can anyone tell me why Japan on the doorstep of China hasn’t experienced many fatalities due to Covid19 ? I know for fact having travelled for over 23 years there. The people wear masks always during flu season mainly to protect others should they begin with a cold. Yesterday the tube was full of people sitting close together no social distancing and barely anyone wearing masks. I’m aware there is a difference of opinion - should or shouldn’t they be worn here. This virus is frightening we’ve lost 4 now to this disease and sadly a lot of people think it won’t affect them. I agree there has been a great deal of confusion. I also feel very strongly that private care homes did not supply protective clothing for their staff the residents were sitting ducks. The private care homes certainly make enough money from residents which average £1000 per week. Testing definitely wasn’t done it’s a national disgrace I lost my father to this v a care home !
I think Johnson has caved in to pressures from business. Now some people will be forced to return to work under conditions that is far from safe. And how mad is it to open schools for four-year olds who have no concept of ’social distancing’. So that’s Potentially 30 children catching the virus and taking it home to 30 families and then members of those families will go to work... I’m really scared.
I have just been gazing out of my kitchen window which overlooks our High Road. A young Mum has just walked past wearing surgical gloves and mask whilst her young child (5/6) and toddler skipped behind her touching walls, railings etc the children were not wearing masks/gloves.
Am I alone in thinking that is wrong on many levels?
Our AC have decided not to send GC back to school/nursery until September at the earliest.
