We’ve said we’ll not take anything for granted again but how long will that last!?I’m sure that having my freedom curtailed will affect me the most not the going to pubs or restaurants just the choices taken away. And I never thought I’d say this but omg I’m going to be so glad to return to work warts and all!??

Yes I hope we will be a kinder and more inclusive society, because we have in recent years become rather divided insular, and materialistic.

This virus is a great leveller, and I hope we will value personal relationships above all.

One thing is pretty certain, the low tax economy will be a thing of the past and we, and following generations will be highly taxed to pay for it all, so there probably won't be the spare cash to be acquisitive.

Breathe a massive sigh of relief and probably have a cry with happiness! Trying to remain positive through it all,

Hopefully we’ll be so thankful we’ve survived a time that tested us to our limits, and in which many will have suffered loss, that we’ll all try to be better, kinder human beings and never take anything for granted ever again?

Well, it’s a lovely thought.

Meanwhile we need to keep buggering on, try to lift ourselves and others when we’re down...and dream of celebrations and street parties when we’re safe again, to keep hold of our new found sense of community.

Initially I'll be very wary when it is " all over " because I can be a very doubting Thomas at times and won't be underestimating the seriousness of close contact wherever it might be so in other words I'll still be keeping my distance from people by trying to choose my times of shopping, easier here because it isn't London.

By the time this is completely clear anyway there'll be another virus festering somewhere and waiting in the wings to strike after Autumn ready for Winter. Not the best of prospects but it pays to be wary at all times.

We're planning a great big party to compensate for Mothers Day and some missed birthdays too.

I'm so looking forward to that time when we can relax and celebrate.

There will be a memorial, too, for a funeral we couldn't have.

Never to vote tory?

Hopefully people will have better links with neighbours and kindnesses will continue.

I will never take for granted that I can pop down the road to see our local AC and GC whenever I choose.

Hopefully all of that.
Sadly there are those for whom kindness was never a thing they understood and they never will. Just look at the hate towards NHS staff and supermarket staff including vandalised cars ambulances etc. we have read about recently.
I admit my cleaning regime has improved.
