Well curiously, I just came across this article shared on Facebook:
www.nytimes.com/2020/03/11/world/europe/economy-britain-coronavirus.html?fbclid=IwAR2EezLPt5WcYhae9xUS-VxvWwc0nfARQBIJNbJhsiug6vAogQkcWwWRdO8
The headline is U.K. Shields Its Economy From the Virus, but Not Yet Its People
I have noticed mutterings for some days on social media about the amount of shrugging and denying the seriousness of the pandemic coming from those who consider themselves well or in an age group that won't be especially affected.
It does feel as though that is especially happening in the UK and given what appears to be common knowledge that we don't have sufficient staff or equipment, especially ventilators. What else is one going to think?
