Not really a problem here. Sometimes my DH wants to help with things I enjoy doing, eg cooking, gardening and other times he’s happy to do his own thing. I don’t get upset that he wants to join in. To be honest, we have quite a lot of shared interests but other things we do separately and that’s fine. I can’t imagine he’ll ever want to do Pilates, though, and I’ll never want to use an electric drill!
