I've recently trained to be a Literacy Volunteer to go into schools and encourage a love of reading, the children are amazing and I love listening to them read and chat to me ?

Travelling - since retiring I haven't stopped! It's wonderful to have the time and freedom. In between travels I love spending time with my wonderful grandchildren - always keeping me young at heart even if a bit creaky in the knees.

A family party!

The food is pretty much the same, the music comes from all ages, we all like a glass of something bubbly. If I shut my eyes I can see my Nan in the corner holding my grandads hand and watching the kids 'bop' . I can see my Mum dancing with her oldest friend Joy , my Dad in the kitchen talking football.

Being part of that even now they are gone and I am the old lady makes me happy.
