I would really love to revisit my youth with the experience... and yes, the wisdom I've gained over the past 60 odd years. Actually can I have my younger body back too please ? I'd appreciate it more second time round !

Don't worry about old age ,It doesn't last long

Even though I am quite young to be a grandma, (my step daughter's got 2 boys) I've always been the youngest, youngest of 2 brothers and a sister, youngest in the year at school, hanging around with older people growing up. But all of a sudden...I'm having to think hang on I'm getting to old to wear that dress, my mother telling me I'm not 25 anymore and its all a bit odd....but I'm going to enjoy every minute, irrelevant of age you never know which day could be your last and its all about living life to the full

I'm quite happy about getting older as I can see my family grow and develop. I am so proud of them. The only downfall is the odd ache and pain that comes with age, but I suppose you can't have everything.

Today, my 90 year old mother told me that I don't look bad for my age!

Why am I still getting spots???

Hurtling towards my sixties I now realise,I'm never going to be a size ten,I'm never going to learn the right way to put my make up on and I'm never going to look any younger, and do you know what,I don't care,I'm happy as I am.

The past is history and the future's a mystery. Today is a gift which is why it's called the present.

I am just happy that I reached the age I am and have grandchildren that give endless joy. I have my health and a caring family, I couldn't wish for more.

Getting old is better than the obvious alternative. Every day should be celebrated.

I have recently inherited 2 step grandchildren and delighted to say Gok Wan would be proud of me...they are often mistaken for my offspring : )

getting older is certainly tiresome, the things I did with ease now take some effort, I can still do most things it just takes too long

Getting older means you no longer walk on water, but rather wade through memories, fishing for wisdom.

I never had the body of a goddess, so I haven't mourned the loss of my glorious youth in the same manner as some of my peers!

I'm also much more confident and comfortable in my own skin now I'm a Grandma who's adored by small adored ones, but still get a lie in and time to read a book!

I'm making up for lost time, getting more confident, daring, relaxed and outspoken - childish even - all the time. It makes life much more fun, so long may it continue!

my mother says the effect of age does not kick in till you are 70

Going to the Doctors, Arthritis, aches and pains, Hospitals - none of this happened before I was 60. I now tend to believe that life is finite so enjoy it one day at a time

I still dream the dreams of a sixteen year old and think the thoughts of a twenty nine year old, so why is it when I look in the mirror I see a fifty two year old staring back at me? Who is she and what on earth has she been through to look like that?

getting older does'nt really bother me as i have my lovely hubby to enjoy it with.
its more about missing my youth than getting old really

I am lucky in that I have a younger partner & he is good with his complements! I am kept very busy by my two youngest grand daughters & although they are exhausting, I do get a feel good factor from helping out. I don't enjoy the aches & pains but as long as I keep healthy I will consider myself lucky.
