Iāve mentioned my Black Forest trifle before.
Chocolate sponge/cake base.
Soak with gently heated cherry compote and alcohol. I use amaretto or sherry. Top with defrosted cherries.
I donāt like custard, so I use jelly fluff for next layer. Use a red jelly.
Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with crushed chocolate flake or grated chocolate.
