Rain at last 😄

Overnight rain in Leicestershire, Hurrah!
Looks like some more today as well. Then it’s back to super heat.

Hurray, South Yorkshire too. Not heavy but steady. all fresh this morning and some more light rain on and off.

I checked out for my London rellies and it's grim there however. We need reports from the South of England, Wales and Scotland have had their rain too.

It rained a little, here in North Cornwall. Not enough to make much difference, unfortunately, and nothing forecast for the foreseeable future.

Some rain in the night in Bath. Drying out rapidly.

Woke up in Weston-sjuper-Mare to see raoin drops on my open bedroom wndow, and even a small puddle on ground.

I mean.... I have just washed all the bedding, but I'm still happy

Just south of you Whingey five minutes of it, now blue skies and sun.

Just about to hang out washing when I felt a few drops of rain. I thought "Yippee" but it didn't last more than about four minutes and then the sun came out. What a disappointment.

Nothing in our bit of Kent though we might get one blob at 11am. SE Water are already messaging us about low levels and the need to limit usage, so it may not be long before the taps run dry again. Fortunately we still have bottled water from the supplies delivered from the last Weekend Without Water, two weeks ago.
