Looking for trousers yesterday I noticed they all seem to be very baggy and very long. Might be ok for youngsters but I could forsee me tripping over them especially when going up and down stairs!!

You can take them up, but yes baggy is in I d feel wrong in tight ones now, for the last couple of years.
fashions go in and out

Don't wear them out in todays high winds.

Not just trousers. It’s why I had to buy cropped leg pyjamas as I was scared of tripping coming down the stairs.

I cannot stand the barrel leg, everyone looks bandy legged in them. I am not jeen on very wide legs as my feet get caught in them. I like slim flared, ,straight jeans and boot leg.

I was adamant that I wouldn’t give up my skinny jeans, I tried some wide leg jeans on last October and loved them.

I now have barrel legs, wide legs and flares in jeans, along with wide leg trousers. I am well and truly converted.

That’s good. I’ve got a bowed leg and huge thighs so everybody looks like me when they wear them grin.

Skinny and straight legged trousers for me. I’m very boring. Don’t follow fashion trends at all.

My knees tend to swell when I walk any distance so I prefer wide legged trousers and jeans these days. I opt for comfort over fashion.

I've never done skinny except for cardiac rehab exercise at the leisure centre.
Loose and floppy for hot weather, otherwise straight, much the most flattering.

I trip up enough wearing straight length trousers. I will trip over a shdow given a chance, so no baggy trousers for me. I end up with the upper part of the bagginess caught between my thighs and myf eet getting caught in the in the lower billows of fabric.

I used to love the skinny which were around for years but was very happy when it changed to wide leg, flares, bootcut I have some from very wide to bootcut and love them all, but would never wear tight now, till they come back in again if I m still alive

I’ve been wearing awide leg jeans for a while now . I’m 5’2 so I buy the short leg length. The trick is to balance your upper half with a shorter length and more fitted top. My jean wardrobe is very varied , skinny, flared , straight, wide leg , cropped , different washes . My favourite are a wide leg flare from Marks , they have a small flap pocket at the front and remind me of jeans I used to wear in the 70s from a shop called Jean Machine .
