Are you keeping a secret?

As an ex NHS employee I hold a lot of secrets. Confidentiality is vital.

I have kept secrets for years but forgotten some of them I’m sure. Most of the people who swore me to secrecy are now dead or have not been in contact with me for years.

Yes. Ive got things in my head I've never told another soul ! If someone tells me something in secret I do out of respect and friendship always keep it to myself. Sometimes it is tempting to tell someone else but I never have and hope its the same vice versa with friends 🧡

I don't share my own secrets and I wouldn't share anyone else's.

I have one at the moment but in my past I have been the recipient of many. All told to me in the confines of my treatment room.
I never divulged any of them and wouldn’t now even though some of the subjects are dead.

As a former care worker, I kept a lot of secrets. These days, I keep a few secrets. I don't like gossip.

One big long standing one of my own

I'm good at keeping secrets. I've had a few of my own over the years, nothing earth shattering but things I am a bit ashamed of.

Oh yes - my family will never ever know the things my late OH's illness caused him to do.

I let them keep their happy memories.

I have a very big secret of my own and a few others whom individuals have chosen to share with only me (so they say)

Secrets are just that secrets. They are not to be divulged for entertainment as they werd never yours in the first place to share.

When my MiL was very unwell, she told me she knew a big secret relating to a tragedy in the family.

She'd never said anything for years previously and I couldn't think of any "need to know" that might apply, so I said that unless it was something she wanted to unburden herself of, I'd rather not know (as she was obviously told whatever it was in confidence).

I think I'd do the same again. I do sometimes wonder what she was going to say.

Yes, two secrets.It wouldn’t benefit anyone to know what they are so I will never tell.

As a therapist of many years I have many many secrets in my head . Confidentiality and trust is essential in my line of work

Yes I have quite a few which I would never pass on. They will remain secret.
I have a "friend" who delights in quite personal gossip about others. So I never tell her anything she shouldn't know. I expect she gossips about me. I no longer care.

My auntie once (reluctantly at first) told me a secret. I’ve never mentioned it to family but on receiving family ancestry it’s all there for anyone to see.
