Another shout out for Nationwide. It's the only banking facility left in my town.
All other banks have left the High Street.

Also Santander. We luckily still have a branch in the next town.

Another vote for Nationwide. Always very helpful and not too busy even though there is only one other bank in our town.

Plus with the Nationwide you can ring your local branch directly and speak to an advisor.

Not a bank , but Nationwide building society.
Their branches still on high street (they promise to at least 2030)
You can go in branch and they will arrange appointment to talk to you face to face in private room .

Will help if you wish to change your banking over to them ( giving £175 for switching over to a Nationwide current account at moment)
Will privately discuss other products eg home insurance, credit cards etc .

We use Santander all banking is online but if I have a query I get to talk to a person via customer services.
