Harry and Meghan. UK Visit.

Just been reading about H&M’s forthcoming proposed visit to the UK with their children, pertaining to the Invictus Games which are due to take place next year.

Apparently, it’s a private visit, and accommodation has been offered to them on a ‘Royal estate’, but no mention of where or if it’s been accepted.

Security issues not revealed, plus whether or not it involves meeting up with the King.

We shall wait and see how it all evolves.

Its embarrssing to think Harry needs to tell adults that booing his wife isn't on.
How disgusting.

I read somewhere that Harry tried to lay down conditions for Meghan's visit, as in that the British public were to respect her, no booing, etc....
As if he can tell a whole country how to behave!!

Be learned in life most of we read is pure speculation or what people think happened or would want to happen.

...... and the King's life will be shortened if he does meet them.

We all know that H&M will exploit any meeting for financial gain and cause the King more distress, disappointment and heartache.

Best they keep away.

Reunited with their cousins??!

They don't know them! Archi left the UK when he was 10-months old and the girl has never met them or stepped a foot inside the U.K.

It's a bit bloody childish, booing the woman.

grannygran Mon 22-Jun-26 18:27:06

I wonder if any of the public, who immediately put this couple down, no matter when they are in the news have never had a falling out with family?
It's not unusual, but because of who this family are, many feel they have a right to start being downright nasty about them.
It's good if they can meet up again and spend time together.
I'm sure I've read the King is covering security for them and offered accommodation. Lots of grandparents would do the same.
They have plenty going spare, why not.
I don't blame them keeping the children from the limelight .

I have nothing against Harry and Megan, and truly hope they can find some kind of peace in their lives, if only for the stability of their children. I can't help thinking the trouble really started with that car crash interview with Oprah Winfrey, who should have known better than to gasp theatrically 'Whaat??' when Megan volunteered the information about the royal 'conversation' re the baby she'd had reported to her. I had good friends in a 'mixed marriage', as they used to call it, and I do remember when they were expecting their first child, many of us mused about the baby's looks. This had nothing to do with racism, it was simply human curiosity! I'm happy to report the 'baby' turned out to be a great chap who has done very well in life. and his dad is justifiably proud of him. Sadly, his mum is no longer with us.

Shall we see the children's faces when they come? Or will they be so low profile we shall not see them at all.

Smileless2012 Mon 22-Jun-26 16:54:25

I'm pretty sure that had an invitation to visit been given to Charles from H & M and he'd declined, the whole world would have been told about it.

Norah Mon 22-Jun-26 16:54:02

Cossy Sadly, in my opinion, Meghan and Harry are not suited. She’s too “American” and truly doesn’t seem to appears to understand the restrictions and “duty” of the British RF. Harry is clearly “damaged”.

I agree, it seems she never understood anything of the RF.

MissAdventure Mon 22-Jun-26 16:51:14

How long did some of you predict the marriage would last, again?
Its all pure speculation.

Norah Mon 22-Jun-26 16:39:36

Willow68 My confusion on how poor King Charles has not seen the children, yet he can travel and has traveled.

I agree. Travel occurs in 2 directions.

Estrellita Mon 22-Jun-26 15:57:39

I agree.

MarieElla Mon 22-Jun-26 15:52:28

I think due to nor actually knowing any members of the Royal family people assume that King Charles is suffering due to not having a relationship with his American grandchildren but, for all we know he could not be overly bothered as has William's children and Camilla's grandchildren. That's probably more than enough for him!

Bestgrammaever Mon 22-Jun-26 15:45:19

I simply hope that they, all of them, remember they are family.

I somewhat understand Meghan's view. If the press and other members of the RF had been controlled by "the firm" from the start, I don't think Meghan would have felt as isolated as she did.

Sadgrandma

I very much doubt that William and Catherine will meet them.

Harry must be praying that his father has many years ahead of him as it appears to be common knowledge that William will strip him of all titles when he becomes King.

H&M have severe financial problems and the only hope of generating income is to rekindle their relationship with the Royal Family. It will be the only thing to set them apart from the rest of the market traders. It is the only thing that makes them the slightest bit interesting. Without them they're just hoi polloi.

There's no other reason she'd come here. She hates the U.K. She hates the Royal Family. And she is so so jealous of the Princess of Wales. It's all about money money money!

And the fact is that most of the UK don't want her here - and the rest don't care a toss about her anyway
.

Calendargirl Mon 22-Jun-26 15:36:26

Catherine Wales is still referred to as Kate Middleton, so don’t think Meghan can be surprised to still be known as ‘Markle’.

‘Meghan Sussex’ doesn’t trip off the tongue somehow though.

I think she will always be MM.

Momac55 Mon 22-Jun-26 15:10:49

Absolutely vile pair of shit both of them

eazybee Mon 22-Jun-26 15:09:10

Why so much bile towards Megan?
Do you know her personally perchance or do you just believe all the bile that is printed by dubious rags?

'Perchance' I do not know her personally but I know far more about her than I do about most of my neighbours, all due to her insatiable desire for publicity, her own words and her actions.
Then I make up my own mind.
I do not care for someone who was welcomed here, made an illustrious marriage, then proceeded to do everything in her power to remove her husband and his money to her own country, vilify her new family and its customs, mock the Queen and drive a wedge between her husband and his father, in all of which her husband was complicit.

MissAdventure Mon 22-Jun-26 14:58:02

I wouldn't know all the terms, and i know hunting was made illegal.
They still can still do hunting/killing things on their own lands, can't they?

merlotgran Mon 22-Jun-26 14:54:59

Harry gave up hinting when he met Meghan.

Do you mean shooting and stalking?
Hunting became illegal in 2005.

MissAdventure Mon 22-Jun-26 14:49:21

When i read what some of people's adult "children" do on here, I don't consider Harry any worse, really.

Willow68 Mon 22-Jun-26 14:49:07

Without the royal family they are nothing, nobodies. They are desperate to visit and feel important, because without a visit they are no able to continue the charade of being important. The humanitarians eco worriers that have no humanity towards her father as he has no royal
Title, also they often fly on private jets while preaching to
Us to save the planet.
My confusion on how poor King Charles has not seen the children , yet he can travel and has traveled. The whole thing is ridiculous of course he could have seen the children. I’ve always loved having a royal family, since the queen has gone it’s fallen apart. Thank goodness we have Katherine !

This is very much Harry's fault - he was the one with his wife who decided to leave!!
