I got my daughter one of these from Amazon and she loves it. I first saw then on You Tube. It was Acre homestead channel and she uses it a lot so I assume they are American. I think a lot of their mince and sausage meat is quite compressed. She also has what she once called a Dutch whisk, this is my next purchase.

I buy turkey mince instead, as it is not compressed and is healthier than beef mince.

I use two forks, but admittedly the latest lot of mince was from M&S, where they don’t compress it tightly.

We find normal mince in Morrisons or at our local butcher shop. Won't buy vacuum packs

I open the top of the packet and then cut the mince into cubes with a sharp knife - tip the meat into the bowl or saucepan - and then the meat breaks down easily with a fork or spatula

How much did you pay for it?

Just use a fork or wooden spatula.
Looks fancy though & is it dishwasher safe?

It’s dishwasher safe and breaks up the meat more easily than a spatula or fork.

I saw a post here a while ago where someone mentioned that they were struggling to break up minced meat now a lot of it comes in a vacuum sealed packs.
I’ve just purchased one of these and it works very well.
