After the sun, the rain🎶

Back up to 30 again today and no cooling breeze like we had yesterday. Badly need rain, but no sign at all. London.

Wonderful lightning display in the early hours of this morning but no thunder or rain. Already hot at 23 degrees.
One forecast says rain is due, another says none for us. So we wait and see. Just hope it cools down tonight, the last two nights have been terrible.

Our thunderstorm was about 2:30 am, very loud, very, very close , in fact overhead but mercifully short.
It is a long time since I have heard lightening actually sizzle and simultaneously the thunder cracking, I thought something must have been struck.
It then rained but I don’t know for how long.
It is fresh this morning but temperature likely to rise again.

No rain here in South Hampshire, apparently there was an electrical storm overnight, no thunder or rain, 27 due today.

We were promised rain here in South Wales yesterday but it veered off in a different direction, so another hot day.

I don’t think we’ll get rain for another week. Scorchio again today.

Same as ferry but hopefully not quite so hot today.

Brilliant sunshine, blue skies. A warmish night - no sign of any rain.
