It’s been a while so I will start us off…….whats for supper and why?

Another bbq’d, chicken skewers, halloumi, hog sausages and salad with baby potatoes.

Cauliflower steaks, pom walnut dressed, salad, bread, fruit.

It's been a funny day so a bacon and egg sandwich - but don't tell anyone!

Since I picked up a nice big bunch (Nectar price!) at Sainsbury’s yesterday, we’ll be having an asparagus risotto. Though rather late, since dh has gone to some talk, and won’t be back until at least 8.30.

Square sausage, egg and chips (not frozen, cut from actual potatoes and cooked in the AF).

A smoothie.

I have some mushy peas in the fridge that need using up, so it's a small chicken & veg pie and peas later.

Veg fried rice, chopped cabbage seeds salad, fruit.

Melton Mobury pork pie lots of d salad and 4Chunky chips. A naughty slice of cheesecake and cream for dessert.

Cold roast chicken thighs from M&S with a green salad and asparagus and a few potato wedges done in the AF.

I have made an old fashioned dessert with jelly and evaporated milk and we'll have that with ice cream.

Thick slices of baked ham, little jersey potatoes and a mixed salad. With mayo. ,
as we like it.

Cheeseburger (homemade) chips and salad.

Out for lunch by a lake so a pick and mix from the fridge tonight.

Barbecued steak with salad. Might do some chips

Bouillabaisse this evening….which I shall make myself.It’s a low carb one with fennel, prawns, white fish and other shellfish .

Leftover bbq and salads, mostly salads.

Halloumi cheese and vegetable barbecued skewers marinated in olive oil, lemon and Mediterranean herbs with warm Greek flat breads

Homemade coleslaw with mayonnaise lightened with greek yoghurt and sprinkled with chive flowers. Served with baked potatoes and mixed salad. Pudding, the first of this year's strawberries with posh vanilla ice cream.

I bought a fish cake, most unusual for me, cooked in the air fryer, so minimal heat in the kitchen, with green beans and broccoli.

Stir-fry. And I've made a jelly and evaporated milk mousse.

Mayo-less potato salad, I made too much at the weekend.

Salad potatoes, haricot verts, kalama olives, shallots, basil. Dressing, added whilst hot: Oil, vinegar, mustard, capers, thyme, salt, pepper.

Over rocket, cherry tomatoes, artichoke hearts.

Bread, hummus. Fruit.

Left overs from last night.

I didn't make the potato salad yesterday but am aiming to today.

Delicious meal tonight - Cook pastacif choice. Sauce of frozen peas, cooked and mashed, then add lemon zest and lemon juice and feta and a few ladles of pasta water to melt into a sauce. Toasted pine nuts on top. Light and very tasty!

Can't be bothered to cook (not keen anytime) so smoked salmon, prawns, avacados & green salad tonight. Not even cooking any new potatoes in this heat.
