A famous matador gored by bull!

What good news šŸ‘

I believe they stab the bull before it goes into the ring just for starters ā˜¹ļø

Animal cruelty cannot be used as entertainment in my view.

PS the bull’s horn went up his rectum. I saw the photo of this today.

I would not wish an injury on anyone but I think bull fighting is very wrong and should be banned. As others have said, the bull has no choice but humans do.

What type of person wants to be a matador? One who has no concerns for inflicting pain and suffering on animals that cannot escape. Someone who believes they are a fantastic human being for "defeating " an already confused, frightened, disoriented and disabled animal before it faces the matador. So, I really do not have any sympathy for a matador who gets injured or killed in a bull ring and I'm sorry if that offends you but that is how I feel. I am not gloating and I don't feel happy about it but they chose their "job" as a matador, the bull was forced into the ring in a tormented state and trying its best to survive an horrific attack from a human being. Poor bull. Just cruel and so very outdated.

Do you know I haven’t then Allira ?

Write to the Spanish Government.

I would never ever want to see anyone hurt or killed but if they •choose• a ā€˜torturing and killing career’ for the adulation of the crowd and for probably a lot of money are they worth caring about
How many animals has this man tortured over the years what does it say about him and all the people that pay money to go and watch an animal tortured… so if the glove is suddenly on the other hand I say that’s karma
I m certainly not cheering for this guys death or injury, but seeing as it’s happened
I m saying I m shedding no tears for him at all, now he ll have time to reflect on his ā€˜career’
The poor animal stood no chance it would be tortured and killed any way
Barbaric and he and all the rest of them don’t deserve any sympathy
And while I m on my hobby horse Those bull runs in the street are hideous too and I can’t believe they are still allowed What chance has the human race when people pay to watch or take part in sheer torture

No one was called weird. Weird! was in reference to the post, not the poster.

No it was a direct reference to the poster.

Bluebelle said: So personally I think it’s you that’s weird.

The assumption seems to be by some that, if a poster is not celebrating the fact that someone has been very badly injured by the bull, they are in favour of bull-fighting.

That is just a complete non-sequitur.

"So personally I think it’s you that’s weird In fact he s not dead so perhaps he ll think things over while his shredded axxx is a reminder"

Disgraceful Bluebelle how could you even think that. My partner told me, and I looked it up that some gangs were shooting people up the arse because it messed up the whole of their lives. Anal pain us unbearable.

^It's a personal attack.^

That's not how I read it.

Oh, so calling another poster ^weird is not a personal attack?

Thanks Allira

I already put that I don’t support bullfighting so I wouldn’t be part of a crowd rejoicing in the torment and usually the death of the bull,
but there is a picture beginning to appear of a group of GNs who would be there, hoping for someone to be killed or injured and cheering about it.

Obviously the bull has no choice, ergo one reason I dislike the sport,
but a group cheering the injury and possible death of a human isn’t any better than a group cheering the injury and possible death of a bull.
Same sort of group who would gather to watch Mme La Guillotine, and then say how terrible it was.

That's quite the leap there. To say that one has no sympathy for someone who has been killed or injured after voluntarily choosing to torture an animal for so-called sport or entertainment doesn't necessarily mean that same person is in favour of capital punishment.

Sorry and Mollygo āœ…

Jaxjacky Wed 22-Apr-26 19:48:17

I agree with and support you Allira as I stated early on in this thread.

Beans12 Wed 22-Apr-26 19:47:43

One reason I have never been to Spain, I will not spend money in a country that treats animals so cruelly. Same goes for Japan; China; Norway; Canada, etc etc...far too long a list. It's hard to find countries where animals are respected these days-I wish every bloody matador a slow, painful death!!

Flakesdayout Wed 22-Apr-26 19:45:19

Yes Ban the so called sport. The Matador knew the risks so I have no sympathy. What about the pain the Bull suffers?

Bazza Wed 22-Apr-26 19:16:32

Bullfighting is a hideous thing and I totally abhor the practice. I may be wrong but I think every bull that enters the ring end up being killed. I feel no sympathy for the matador either but I do for all the tortured dead bulls who had no choice.

Some people must find it very hard to breathe, what with the rarefied air up there on their moral high ground.

Couldn't have put it better BlueBelle šŸ‘

It's a personal attack.

I won't report it but it is showing that an eye for an eye (and probably capital punishment to) is still in many people's psyche.

Well the whole crowd rejoice in the bulls torture Molly. So personally I think it’s you that’s weird In fact he s not dead so perhaps he ll think things over while his shredded axxx is a reminder

Your hypothesis is completely wrong, Bluebelle.
Mollygo is not weird as you claim. That is rude.

Mollygo thinks it is wrong to celebrate or rejoice in injury to anyone or anything.
So she would not rejoice in injury to either bull or matador and probably abhors the practice as much as the rest of us.

She is the better person.

Why is it in any way wrong to be glad that a barbarian got injured whilst torturing a captive animal? Would you feel sorry for a serial killer who cut himself during a murder?

Weird!
It’s wrong to celebrate or rejoice in injury to any one or anything, but if you’re happy to do that, that’s about you.
