A friend of my mum's sold her lucrative business and went on an "early retirement" cruise with her husband and 10 year old daughter. They took me with them to "childmind" their daughter whilst they were out in the evening etc.
It was the new QE2 and the food was totally fabulous. Lobster for breakfast if you fancied it.
The mum had the same breakfast (Cornflakes) and lunch (ham salad) every day!
I couldn't believe it.
I think probably we like what we know, and, as we get older we know what we like.
Wealthy doesn't mean "posh" though does it!
