I am sorry to hear you have a Bowen’s it does come as a shock to be told this. I have unfortunately had this a few times and was prescribed Efudix cream to be applied topically once a day for two hours. A couple of times it left a minuscule scar but the last time on my face this time it’s left a large red blemish that won’t go. When the cream starts to work it can form a light crusty appearance and that’s it healing but it doesn’t always. Perhaps it depends on where on the body it’s being applied. I hope this is a one off for you Alwaysworrying
