Reflux meds OTC

Anyone take over counter reflux tabs liquid, which do you find suits you best having tried two different ppi’s both that haven’t suited me, and waiting for drs appointment I was wondering if anyone has had any joy with Gaviscon etc

I have been on omeprazole for at least 30 years, 2 tablets in the morning, I've never had any side effects from it thank goodness. I tried to manage on just one when I was in hospital and promptly through up the weetabix they gave me for breakfast.

Please ask for an endoscopy (camera down your throat). If you've been suffering with reflux for some time, it's important to know if your oesophagus is healthy or whether you might have a pre-cancerous condition.

I suffer with reflux, try 2 tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar in water ,
Make sure it is Apple cider vinegar with the Mother .
It helps me ….but drink through straw and give teeth a good brush .

Lifting and bending a couple of days ago gave me sudden reflux.
I normally take Gaviscon if it happens.
I sat quietly with a tub of Greek yoghurt and tried that .
It worked .
