In *soop’s absence I’ve opened the door, fluffed the cushions and replenished the buffer. Blossoming you have more patience than me with that bracelet, how delicate. Tough times SueD I hope today went well for Thursday. Yesterday’s quiz was a record 54 in attendance, not bad for a village on a Monday, we caught up with quiz mates, but failed to get in the top three. Before that I went to see a physiotherapist and came away with a bunch of knee exercises, I’ve crepitus apparently! Today was washing, managed to whip it in before some rain unexpectedly came down. With 🌹to soop and others struggling.
I have had a very busy weekend, I think I have overdone it, I am shattered today. On a brighter note my GGD 2 was born at 4:41 this morning. Good news for the family but such sad news for Grannmarie What a terrible shock for his family.
Poor MrJ - sounds like a nasty one. Grannmarie that is far too young. Best wishes to you. My “August or September “ hip replacement is now 6 to 7 months from now, so I am searching for October holidays. We have been on hold for months already.
How disappointing for you nannytopsy. I hope you can find an October holiday to make the waiting seem less onerous.
jaxjacky I hope that MrJ feels better soon, there are some nasty viruses about already!
I went into the nearest town today and bought the things I needed. I felt exhausted when I got home, not sure why really. I defrosted the freezer part of the fridge/freezer this afternoon. It really needed doing and I threw out a few unidentifiable items, plus some very out of date sausage rolls - they’d been in there for two years! Then I picked a load of cherry tomatoes, there are a lot so I’ll offer some to neighbours. I need to collect some meds tomorrow, hope they’re ready!
Enjoy the rest of the evening Kitcheners. Night night.
How lovely utbb a new baby, congratulations to all. Might as well Nannytopsy something to look forward to. I don’t go Grannmarie MrJ feeling like he would pass out yesterday was perturbing, so I’m here, ‘reminding’ him to drink water (bet he wishes I had gone 😏). I’m wondering how the soops are doing, which makes me think of the amazing socks Baggs showed on the feet thread, what stunning work by her. My thoughts are as always with those struggling, particularly with their loved ones xx
Congratulations to all the family Uttb what wonderful news Hoping MrJ is much better soon Jax sounds like an awful virus
It’s back to school tomorrow for the DGC here, the eldest age 11 starts senior school and my DGD will be in P7. I think DGS will settle in fine, not so sure about DGD as she had quite a tough time at the end of the last school year 🥲 Will see over the next few days 🤞
A holiday sounds good nannytopsy, hope you can enjoy a relaxing break before the new hip arrives Gorgeous Blossoming thanks for the picture Thinking of the Soops and everyone in the quiet corner, take care all x
That’s wonderful news uttb. Congratulations to the family.
Get well wishes to Mr jax and other poorly folk.
A holiday day will come nannyt. In the meantime I understand how frustrating it is to have life on hold.
Mr C is struggling to move away from plantar fasciitis. He’s so frustrated as he’s doing the recommended exercises (much to my surprise). It’s so limiting.
Time I was asleep, or tried to be. With thoughts to all with personal mountains to climb
