Apologies for fat finger typing in my post, honestly it was not the alcohol.

Back home after a lovely meal but how expensive eating out is now.
I restricted myself to one cocktail, Amon Old Fashioned and, my favourite, and one glass of Pinot Grigio which at best was average.
However the whole experience was lovely.
I will see if I can put a photograph on as we sat outside on arrival for a drink.

Another hot day down south, last one for now, tomorrow.
So, this , watered the greenhouse, washed a few clothes and towels, read some of the paper, watched tennis this afternoon.
MrJ meanwhile was playing in the pub golfing completion, bonkers, I joined him later for the presentation (iced latte, just right), he came second, a happy chap.

We’ve just had yet another enormous meal! I feel absolutely stuffed. The food on this ship is delicious and the wine is free too! I think we’ll have to go on a diet when we get back home - except the day after our return is the monthly U3A lunch. Mmm.

Can you believe this last few days we have been moving kitchen furniture and washing walls
ready for decorator on Monday it's been horrible but obviously we didn't know how hot it was going to be when we booked him,thank goodness for fans and showers. Stay safe all.

Good afternoon dear Kitcheners, it’s been an absolute scorcher here. We had a lovely walk through the woodland on the opposite side of the dock, it’s cooler under the trees. Steam trains were running, we could see them getting the engines ready. Keeping cool in my Solbari sunhat and dark glasses 😎. We have some leftover baked ham to eat for tea and MrB has baked some fresh rolls, too hot for cooking!

FGT, you do know that once well established, you can take cuttings from tradescantias, root in water. And Bob’s your uncle! An idea to save a plant, just in case the winters are too cold.
