Gingster so sorry to read about your husband’s suspected stroke. I hope it is a small one as recovery is much quicker. We have a friend who was back to running in 3 weeks and another lady who was out walking within 10 days.

My husband had a major stroke in Nov and was 3 months in hospital. home now and getting loads of therapy.

You will both be in our thoughts. ❤️

I've been on a phone runaround this morning. It's much too complicated to detail here, suffice to say, my mum remained difficult to the end and my brother is mostly responsible for an appallingly bad decision which has caused a number of us problems to sort this morning. He's an absolute liability.
Off to get my shingles jag now

Gingster I had a stroke following a brain injury 23 years ago at the relatively young age of 50. I don’t know any details about your husband, obviously, but I survived it, hope he does too.

I was due to go on a long coastal walk today but alas my new hip, which has caused me no bother since Jan 1st, decided to play up on April 1st and I'm limping!

Just finished a very long video call with DS in NZ. We're exactly 12 hours time difference now which makes it easy.

Sorry to read that you're still so unwell Marydoll and my sympathy to you Grandmabatty as you struggle to deal with your mother's funeral. Hope your recovery is going well Bonnybanko and you'll soon be home.

Thinking about my rose shrub reminded me of WhiteWave. I know she posts on other threads but has given up on us it seems! I used to love hearing about her garden and wildlife visitors.

Nothing planned for today but with sunshine forecast outside beckons where there is always a little job or two.

Good morning from 9C Sunnyside sandhills northwest coast.
I’ve had a gadabout few days, music club, midday recital (jazz, not really my ‘bag’ as they say) folk club, one man show and last night to local drama society play, very well done. I sat on the front row, which I like. I’m thinking of joining the drama society, but already seem to have enough going on with art thrown into the mix…

Off to the doc soon to check a mole and mention my hernia op’ pain. I hope it hasn’t failed 😨

A sunny good morning from Co Armagh
I spent too much at the garden center yesterday 🤣
Planted a rhubarb crown in the evening
All ornaments removed from the bedroom windowsill and tender things there , hardier stuff placed ready for planting when time allows
One solar ornament back in the box , it “ twinkles “ in a most irritating manner , younges daughter will like it !
Today I’ll try and remove the delightful aroma of chicken poo pellets from my bag , the bag is attached to my rolator and is very useful but a different perfume is preferred 😳
Mass this am , then , hopefully, coffee with my neighbour , then home to lunch and try to stay awake !
