To the poster (can’t check back) who recommended affogato, surely you forgot the Disarrono (sp) poured over as well?

This has made me a bit sad. The thing I'd like more than anything is a soda farl made by my granny, toasted and dripping jn butter. Maybe a boiled egg on the side. I loved my granny and I loved all her baking but a toasted soda farl was my favourite.

Sorry realise that is a pretty useless recommendation as no one can get one. Sorry I lost the plot.

Yes, I’ve used the oven pads, and they are great. There’s a specialist version for the shelves and grill too, which really cuts through the grease.

Mackies vanilla ice cream. I used to get the organic one which was just so nice, but can no longer find it. Best ice cream. I think they make it for Waitrose. But I may be wrong.

Sainsbury's sell Mackies. £2 odd atm with Nectar.

I was convinced I wouldn't like globe artichokes until I saw them ready-dressed in the chilled aisle of Sainsburys several years ago and gave them a go. Absolutely addicted now.

Which supermarket did you find them in?

I just love good potatoes.
I'm a total convert to Red Alouette and find them excellent for everything. Technically they are ofen called "waxy" so shouldn't be good for mash but they certainly are.

Can't find anything to dislike about them.

Which supermarket did you find them in?

The oven cleaning ones were in Tesco, I got some kitchen cleaner in B&M, and I got the bathroom cleaner just last week in Aldi, so they are about. Those are the ones I’ve tried so far, but there are more products in the range.

Cafe Noir biscuits are my weakness. Haven't even got much of a sweet tooth either! Only way I can locate them now is a deli on the Isle of Wight or Amazon. Very moreish.......

Can I recommend a poster on TikTok called Cheryl Bakes Cakes? She is from Northern Ireland, and makes lovely soda breads, cakes, no bake treats, and delicious looking comfort foods.
Perhaps best avoided by weight-watching grans!
