I have been unable to pee properly for a few years , last October 2023 I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with an enlarged prostate and got pills etc and he would refer me to a specialist.
Still haven't heard anything.
On Friday I get up for my usual pee during the night and started to just dribble, couldn't even tell if I was peeing except for the noise in the toilet and eventually the wet down my leg.
This continued the other two times I got up and all through Saturday and Sunday and on Monday I went to the doctor. I was told I was on the best treatment for an enlarged prostate and the waiting list was 18 months hence why I had never had a consultation with a specialist.
So what can you do for me I asked the doctor?
"Nothing" was his reply "you have to wait to see a specialist".
"And you don't want a catheter".
So I have to dribble 100ml of pee about 12 times a day for another four or five months because of the crappy NHS.
